Band Travels to Kauai to Celebrate Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole Pi‘ikoi

On Saturday, June 20, 2015, the Royal Hawaiian Band will perform on Kauai as part of a celebration honoring Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole Pi‘ikoi. The festivities will be held at Prince Kuhio Park in Koloa and will begin at 10 am and the band will perform at 12:30 pm.

This is the first time in a number of years that band has performed on Kauai, Prince Kūhiō's birthplace, but this concert is special because 87 years ago, the band performed there for the first celebration of Prince.
