The City and County of Honolulu will present A Holiday Concert with the Royal Hawaiian Band, a free performance at the historic Hawaiʻi Theatre at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015. The Royal Hawaiian Band will play a selection of holiday tunes, new arrangements, and perhaps something from a galaxy far, far away!
In addition to the musicians of the Royal Hawaiian Band, this event, which is part of the traditional Honolulu City Lights celebration, will also feature a number of special guest performers, including Frank De Lima, Jerry Santos, hula hālau Ka Lā ‘Ōnohi Mai o Ha‘eha‘e, the Kamehameha Schools Children’s Chorus, Gary Aiko, Malia Ka‘ai, Karen Keawehawai‘i, and Pi‘ilaniwahine Smith.
This non-ticketed event is free and open to the public. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Hawaiʻi Theatre Center is located at 1130 Bethel Street.
