**The Royal Hawaiian Band has adapted its service to comply with current government safety practices to address COVID-19. The band has been divided into smaller ensembles to allow for social distancing while performing only at outdoor venues. Currently the band is performing at the Honolulu Zoo on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and at the Bishop Museum on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. We look forward to sharing our music with you once again.**
Founded in 1836 by King Kamehameha III, the Royal Hawaiian Band is the only band in the United States with a royal legacy and is currently an agency of the City and County of Honolulu.
The mission of the band is to promote music, preserve Hawaiian musical culture, inspire young musicians, and enrich the lives of the people of Hawai‘i.
