Erin Breitenbach

Oboe

Erin Breitenbach received a Bachelor of Music degree in Oboe Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. During her training, she was a free-lance musician and soloist and has performed under great conductors such as Christoph von Dohnanyi, conductor for the Cleveland Orchestra.

​Now approaching her seventeenth year with the Royal Hawaiian Band, she continues to free-lance and, on some occasions, has been the principal and section oboist with the Hawai‘i (Honolulu) Symphony, Hawaii (Honolulu) Symphony Pops, and the Maui Symphony.

​She is also a private oboe instructor and manages a small group of young oboists at McKinley high School.
