Garrett Martin originally hails from Fairbanks, Alaska, where he studied clarinet in the arctic with Kathleen and Dr. Theodore DeCorso.  Mr. Martin went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, studying with Henry Miyamura, James Moffitt, and Scott Anderson.  He currently performs on clarinet and bass clarinet with the Royal Hawaiian Band while maintaining an active private clarinet studio.
