Tenor Saxophone

Scott is a woodwind specialist who earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Julliard School. He is also the First Place recipient of the Buddy DeFranco North American Jazz Clarinet Competition.  Scott has been a member of the Royal Hawaiian Band since February 1987 playing the alto/tenor saxophone, clarinet, flute, and oboe. He is a frequent soloist with many local ensembles, both classical and jazz, and has backed up many notable recording artists locally and nationally.
